SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Rainer Neuwirth was born in Horn, Austria, in 1987 and lives in Ybbs an der Donau. He began his self-taught artistic practice in 2026. His portraits and figurative works explore gaze, subjective perception and the tensions between vulnerability and resistance.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Rainer Neuwirth's works examine how inner states become visible—and how differently people perceive the same world. Faces and bodies become sites of tension between self-image, external perception and lived experience.
